Malaysia's June natural rubber production up 15.1 pct

Malaysia, the world top five largest natural rubber producer, saw its natural rubber production rise 15.1 percent month-on-month in June to 50,614 tonn, said official data Friday.
According to Malaysia's statistics department, smallholding sector was a major contributor to the production of natural rubber with a contribution exceeding 90 percent.
Exports of natural rubber in June declined 10.9 percent month-on-month to 44,683 ton.
China remained the main destination of natural rubber export, accounted 43.1 percent of the total exports.
