Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) recorded the value of rubber export of North Sumatra until the first half of 2017 increased as much as 65.53 percent or to USD798, 915 million. The increase is due to the increase in volume and selling price.
"The same period in 2016, the export value of rubber from North Sumatra was still USD482,635 million," said Head of Central Statistics Bureau (BPS) Sumut Syech Suhaimi, as quoted from Antara, Medan, Thursday, August 10, 2017.
